MY TAKE ON LADOUCE TAMPONS
July 29, 2018
T A M P O N S? Have you ever heard them? Here in the Philippines, I believe there is just about 25% of people who know tampons and most of them are millennials, social media people, bloggers/vloggers and some moms or dads.
As for me, I just heard tampons recently because I've been using pads since I was 16. This thing is never easy to be accepted or embraced in a conservative country like the Philippines and to tell you honestly I am one of those conservatives. This thing has been circulating in social media and there have been lots of positive feedback. I was too hesitant to try but I collect all my guts and here is my experience.

HOW DO I INSERT A TAMPON?
I tried Ladouce tampons mini since this is just for the first impression if bye or buy. Anyway, the brand rest assured that it will not disturb or tear hymen. These are the tampons contained in a small box with manual.
For my first try, I failed. I tried to insert but I failed because it won't go inside so I re-read the instruction and try again.
For the second time, I get to insert it but only in the opening and it really hurts. I keenly observed the instruction but my body won't participate so I gave up.
After a few more hours of thinking why it won't work on me. I went to Ladouce website and look for their tutorial. here it is:
I even watched other related videos of Filipina vloggers
After I saw the video tutorial and other videos of Filipina vloggers I am sure that I did the right process back then which made me say that I will be a pad user and won't switch it to anything.
The following month when red days came I saw again the tampons. I even forgot I have those (hehe!). I broke my word and tried again because I don't want to junk this product because it is a little pricey.
On my second try, It still hurts but I managed to insert it. It hurts for 15 minutes and I almost pull it out. After 15 minutes, I felt that the tampon adjusted to give me comfort but still it is irritable. After a few more minutes, I forgot that I am using one.
I changed it after an hour and again the struggle is real for the insertion of this thing. I cannot perfect the process and finally decided to use a pad and swear that I won't use or try tampons until I bare my child. I decided to give the remaining tampons to my friend and until now she has no feedback for ease of use.
My rating: 2/5 for now.
